Voici les commentaires que nous avons reçus en réponse à la question de consultation en ligne suivante : Dans le cadre des affaires courantes, quel exemple le plus décourageant du fardeau de la réglementation fédérale avez-vous rencontré? Que faudrait-il faire pour résoudre le problème de la paperasse dans ce domaine?
La Commission sur la réduction de la paperasse s'engage à respecter la Loi sur les langues officielles et à faire en sorte que tous les renseignements soient fournis en français et en anglais. Les renseignements venant de sources externes sont disponibles dans la langue officielle dans laquelle ils nous ont été fournis. Frustrating example: Two products that we sell, hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid, require export permits for class B precursors before they can be exported to certain countries. As I am in charge of regulatory compliance for a chemical distributor I find the disconnect between CEPA, TDG, WHMIS and customs to be counterproductive. A closer relationship between all the federal agencies that can be involved with chemical importation would make my life easier and could potentially decrease the risk of environmental or human harm.

Stats Canada surveys are time consuming, and they are continually phone when you do not fill out the surveys especially the workplace survey, Other surveys about business often run to several pages and are time consuming to collect the data, many businesses just wing the numbers which leads to incorrect stats.
